Suggestion for all you Blogger users out there

If you have a Blogger account with which to blog, I have a suggestion for you to help those of us who like to comment on your blog. Please stop showing profile images on comments. When you show profile images on comments, IE throws a security warning every time you attempt to load that page. It’s annoying.

I don’t really care…

If you want to fix it, log into your Blogger Dashboard, go to the Settings tab and choose the Comments menu.

Set this option:
Show profile images on comments? to No

And while you’re at it, can you disable Word Verification?

First Cereal

The first solid foods that babies eat is typically rice ceral. It’s basically like oatmeal, and you can mix it with breastmilk, water or milk.

Henry had his first taste of rice cereal last weekend! The whole eating experience is pretty new for babies, who have to learn how to control their tongue in an entire new way. So since then, he’s been experimenting with his tongue – too cute and more pictures of that to come!

Decision

I’ve been conflicted about breastfeeding lately. It’s an inconvenience to pump at work, but I’m not ready to give up nursing altogether.

I decided this weekend that I’m going to stop breastfeeding during the day. I’ll maintain my 6 a.m., 6 p.m., and 8 p.m. nursing sessions, but let go of the daytime feedings.

This won’t impact Henry’s schedule during the week, as he is already being bottle-fed during that time. It just means that we’ll be bottle-feeding him during the day on the weekends.

We’ve also already introduced him to formula and we’re supplementing his bottles with about 50% formula, so we don’t need to be concerned about not having enough milk.
I’m excited, I’ve found a solution that will work well for both of us!!

He loved hanging out with his granny. And I’d like to point out that we did not shave his head. He’s just went bald on that side of his head. What hair he does have growing back is blonde, so you can barely see it.
