I Passed!
I can’t believe it – I went to take my Microsoft Exam this morning and I passed! I’m now a Microsoft Certified Professional.
I took the Supporting Users and Troubleshooting a Microsoft Windows XP Operating System exam. It’s part one of two for the Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician on Windows XP certification.
I’ve never had any formal training with computers, so it’s nice to actually have something on paper.

Fun with Fertility
My doctor thinks I may have endometriosis, which is such a funky little disease. He’s not sure, but he’s treating me as if I have it. If I do have it, I’m asympotmatic. So now I’m taking Clomid.
I don’t quite understand how this is supposed to fix things, but it seems to be a good step towards achieving our goal. 🙂

Let’s just face it
When I don’t see a plus sign this week, I’m going to be disappointed.

Dismissed!
Today I cancelled my Pottery Barn Kids catalog, the Crate and Barrel catalog, and the mailers I get from TEAM in Training. I am loving this. It’s going to be great to cut down on the stuff we don’t need, though that means that most of the remaining mail will be bills, which is always sad.

TV Land
I’ve been watching a lot of TV lately. Let me catch you up.
My current favorite is Dead Like Me, a Showtime program that is being played on the SciFi Channel. DLM was cancelled in season two. What a shame. I love Mandy Patinkin in this show, such a great personality. Ellen Muth is really cute and I can relate to her desire to just hang out under the radar all the time. I’ve watched about 6-8 shows in the last week, so that’s really rewarding.
We also watched Season 2 of The Office (BBC) this week. Tragically, painfully funny. Well done. I get so sad when I think of Dawn and Tim not being able to get together. Oh well. What’s wacky is seeing what Mackenzie Crook looks like in real life versus his role in The Office.
After we got home from our Thanksgiving trip to Portland, we caught up on House and Battlestar Galactica. I have a few episodes of Venture Bros. to watch, and Season 2 of Cracker waiting for me.
Too much time in front of a screen, I think, but what the hell. My brain is happy.
