Blue crabs rule! We use to live in Cape Coral FL(which would have been named Venice if there was not already a Venice FL) on a canal. I had a crab pot/trap in the canal behind the house. I would bait it with mullet that I caught and freeze the blue crabs. When we had about a dozen, my Oma would come over and cook them and pick the meat out. It was a great treat for her and us 🙂 Many of the crabs that I caught were 10-12 inches from tip to tip. True monsters in the blue crab world!
LOL! Your plate/table area looks just like mine when I eat crab, or any other seafood: Messsssy! hahaha

I suggest not ordering 1/2 dozen crabs the day you get a manicure done. Sort of at cross-purposes.
