Greetings Friends, Family, Acquaintances and Lurkers! Finally, finally, finally, I have ported my blog to my new, self-hosted domain. It has taken weeks of effort and cost just a little bit of money, but it means I’m in control and all my content is safe and backed up locally.
There is still a bit of work to do with moving my pictures over from Blogger and fixing bad links, but it will all happen in time. For now, my content is in place and I can start blogging again! I want to thank Michael, Bob and Sean for all their help – could not have done it without them!
If you have blogrolled me, please update your link with my new address: www.iheartdavids.com. I will be putting stuff in place to help make permalinks pointing to my old blog work – I am hopeful I can get this done right.
As an added bonus, you are now able to subscribe to my blog! There is a form on the subscriptions page, but if that doesn’t work, just send me an email and I’ll add you to the list.
Thanks for everyone’s patience as I got this up and running. Now I’ll be able to focus on blogging!
