We’re redoing our formal living room. Actually, that’s not really accurate since there’s never been anything in it since we moved in. I am so excited we’ve started decorating this room. It’s on the front of the house and gets very wonderful sunlight in the mornings, so we wanted a place where we could take advantage of the light for reading and doing jigsaw puzzles.
Last weekend we ordered Dave’s chair. It’s an extremely comfortable swivel glider recliner. I don’t think this picture does it justice but here it is. We got it from Norwalk Furniture Idea which makes Dave happy because that means it’s being built in Ohio!
Tonight I ordered the rug. I had found it at Norwalk and fell in love with it, and was very surprised to see it for 75% of their price online. I got it from www.RugSale.com.
Sometime soon, I’ll go pick out the fabric for my chair. I am getting my chair from Expressions Furniture. It is a swivel glider and I’ll get the ottoman to match. I can’t wait!! I’m still deciding on the fabric I want to match with the other pieces in the room.
Oh, we also got the coffee table at Ikea a few weekends ago. 
I can’t wait until we have actual pictures to show you!!
I’m so excited that you’re decorating that room! It’s got to be fun, having a blank canvas to do anything you want. I WANT a bigger house!!!!!! When you come down, you’ll see how Evan’s stuff has overtaken the place. BTW, I just read your comment on my blog. Sorry it took so long for me to see it.
