When Dave lived in California, I was always amazed that we could stay out all night drinking but I could still wear the same jeans the next day. That’s becuase you’re not allowed to smoke in restaurants or bars in California – it’s AWESOME!
Support a current House bill to ban smoking.
Secondhand smoke is a serious health hazard, especially for North Carolina’s bar and restaurant employees. Please email your representative and ask him or her to support H259, which would ban smoking in nearly all workplaces.

Ugh! I so can’t wait for this to be passed here. Why should we have to breath nasty smoke-laden air.
Smokers should also have to go out away from buildings and not smoke right at the entrance of the building. Sure, they are smoking outside, but why should we have to breathe that crap when exiting or entering the bldg.

I hear you on that! I hate having to do a load of laundry the next day when nursing a hangover. It’s not fair.

So…secret disclosure! I smoked for years and years up until last August.
Now that I’ve been for a so long without, I can’t stand smoke! And it’s so hard for me to go out to bars, because even though I find the smoke choking me, I want to smoke.
So yeah, I’m all for the ban.
