Poll for all you marrieds out there

Filed under: Love — JeniQ @ 2:01 pm

Ok, this isn’t just for married people. If you think you might get married in the future, you might have an opinion on this too. It’s a quick and easy poll, just post a comment and let me know what you think.

If you’re married, do you leave your wedding ring (not your engagement ring, ladies) on all the time, or do you take it off sometimes? If you take it off, what for?

Jeni: I never take off my wedding ring.

Dave: Dave takes off his wedding ring at night or whenever he’s cooking or washing the dishes.

Can’t wait to see what everyone says!

  1. I take mine off when I go fishing.
It doesn’t fit as tightly as it would need to for me to not worry about it slipping off into the water. I don’t want any hobbits finding it and calling it ” My Precious” 😉

About the only other time I will remove it is to have it cleaned/polished.

  2. I leave mine on all the time so far, except when I put lotion on my hands.

  4. only time I take mine off is if I’m doing work that would make it dangerous to have on a ring (some car work, some wood work).

Or if I’m doing lots of yardwork without gloves.

I’ve gotten worried swimming with it on, but it doesn’t seem likely to slip off.

  5. I always leave both of mine on. I have a silver for my left hand and a gold “real” band for the right. In Germany, couples wear the wedding on their right hand as to on their left in the States. So, my wife has two rings, but technically, German women only wear a band and nothing on their right ring finger.
