My friend Lindsay let me know sad news today. Sweet, sweet Emma lost her battle with a brain tumor.
She was such a sweet dog and I loved her so. When I would visit Lindsay, she would sleep on the bed with me until she got so hot she couldn’t stand it. Sometimes she’d sleep outside my door, protecting me from intruders.
She will be missed by her family, Lindsay, Tim, Max and Fred.

In heaven, dogs run free in endless fields, nap on fluffy clouds, are given treats by passing angels. 😉

Aww, I’m sorry. Sadly, it seems retrievers are prone to tumors:( My Dadd’s golden had one too. That bottom picture is the sweetest human/dog picture I have ever seen; perfect to remember her by. And what Sean says is true because all dogs go to heaven;)

Awwww. Poor baby. It is really unfair that dogs don’t live forever! They are so great! It seems like this one had a pretty happy life and was well loved, and that’s just the best any of us can hope for.
